Obituary for Daryl Kenton Taylor

Daryl Kenton Taylor was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on
September 15, 1949 the son of James Henry (1898-1979) and Myrtle Lucretia
(1903-1990) Taylor. He departed this life November 15, 2020 at Metropolitan
Hospital, Windsor, Ontario. He leaves to mourn six daughters and three sons.
Amy, Danielle, Daryl Jr., Daniel, Justin, Naomi, Natalie, Kali and Lakiesha. As
well as 11 beloved grandchildren Kieren, Adreyonna, Destiny, Brittany, Hayley,
Samantha, Victoria, Dante, Layah, Laryeah and Bryonna. He also leaves to mourn two sisters Donna (Lloyd) and Ann (Robert), as well as two brothers Sheldon (Lucille/Karen) and Robert (Elizabeth/Sue).
Predeceased by siblings Mildred (Donald), Eunice (Grenville), James Jr. (Phyliss),
Ethelda (Louis/John), Wilbert (Elenore), Delores (Jack), Lois (Clyde/George)
and Paul (Lydia).

Daryl loved being a father and grandfather. He was also an avid
sportsmen, and active member of the Windsor Umpires Association, for decades
along with his brother and best friend Bobby. He was an amazing athlete in
individual and team sports as well, such as Track and Field, Hockey and Baseball
to name a few of his favourites.

On Friday November 20, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Sandwich First Baptist Church, 3652 Peter St, Windsor. Reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend the Homegoing Service at Sandwich First Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. You can reserve your time for visitation or seat for the Homegoing Service at FamiliesFirst.ca (RSVP) or by calling directly at 519-969-5841. (Please note due to COVID 19 regulations attendance for cemetery services may be limited, interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
