Obituary for Delores "Jean" Brough

It is with broken hearts that we announce her peaceful passing at home surrounded by those she loved on July 9, 2023 at the age of 88. Now reunited with and finally in the arms of her late husband, Orville (1997).

Loving mother and best friend of Darla (Jamie) Martinello. Her pride and joy were her grandsons David(Heather Hargreaves), and Jesse (Lucretia “Lucky” Barraco).

Cherished Great-grandmother of Dallas, Alex, Jackson, Jude, and Lily. She will also be missed by extended family and friends, especially her girls, Karen and Sue and Kitty Thelma (Aka Gobble Guts). We will all miss her stories and are so grateful for the laughs she shared.

Her chair is now empty and our home will never be the same. We will dearly miss her. You are forever in our hearts

The Family wishes to thank Dr. Chevalier (and Marie). We will be forever grateful for the care, concern, and compassion you showed, and went over and above to make sure she had everything she needed. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses from Hospice, C.C.A.C and the Saint Elizabeth caregivers for their fantastic support. You all made this journey so much easier.

As per Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
