It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of this truly wonderful and generous soul, Denise MacDonald. Daughter of the late Gordon and Sharon MacDonald. Loving wife of Mark Allen and mother to Jennifer Carpenter, Jordan Allen and Jayden Allen (Devin King). Adored grandmother to Martell, Sophia, Stefan, Ethan and Matteo. Cherished sister to the late Gary MacDonald (husband of Anita), Charlene Marriott (Terry), and Gordon MacDonald (Melissa). Special aunt to Jason, Devan and Craig MacDonald, and loving friend to many.

Denise was born in Halifax which always held a special place in her heart. Many memories were had by her and her family at the camp on Spider Lake. She will be remembered for her love of animals, her carefree attitude and her ability to always see the best in people. Denise was a proud income tax preparer and teacher at H&R Block for many years and was adored by her many colleagues and clients.

In keeping with her love of animals, donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.

Visitation on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. and continues Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral at 11:30 a.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841
