Passed away suddenly at home on July 31, 2019 at 95 years of age. Devoted husband of Catherine (nee Lilly) for 72 years, who was his best friend and who will cherish his memory forever. Beloved father of Janet Chalmers (Bill Lahey) and Sharon Johnston (Steven). Proud gramps of Robert Chalmers (Jennifer Kiefaber), Tara Varga (Darko) and great grampy of Jaxen, Noah and Brenna. Dennis treasured and loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored and loved him deeply. He will be sadly missed by his family in England and extended family and friends in Windsor.

Dennis retired from Ford Motor Co. after 35 years of dedicated service. During WWII he was an Officer of the Royal Air Force. Dennis played soccer in England and continued his passion with the NASL in Toledo. He was an avid golfer and a member of Club 55. Dennis will be missed but never forgotten. He was a wonderful, loving and devoted family man. Our memory of him will live on in our hearts forever.
