Obituary for Diego Dino Martinico

Passed away peacefully at 77 years of age on Saturday, May 15, 2021. He leaves behind his children Shelley, Marcel, Frank (Eve), Angela (Darin) Hunter, and Micheal (Ana). Nonno to Mitch (Elaine) Eastman, Dylin Hunter, Katrina Martinico, Austin Hunter, and a new grandchild on the way, as well as Bisnonno to Braiden and a new great-grandchild on the way. Dino will be mourned by his brothers, Gasper (Janet Smith) Martinico and John (Liz) Martinico and his sister Palma (Dominic) Lori, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in both Canada and Italy. Dear son of Antonina and the late Frank (2000) Martinico, he was predeceased by his wife Judy and his sister-in-law Sheila Martinico. Dino will be sadly missed by his best buddy, his dog Jake. Dino worked in Tool and Die his whole career and retired from Valiant Machine and Tool after many years of service. He will be remembered as a hard working guy who could fix anything and who loved nothing more than Sundays at Nonna’s surrounded by his family. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus for the wonderful care given to Dino. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
