Passed away peacefully on November 9, 2019 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents Stella (née Bondy, 2009) and Edmond Bessette (1982). Dolores married the ‘boy next door’ Dino Martinello, who predeceased her in 2002. She will be missed by her children Todd, Angie, Lisa, Tom, and the late Larry (1996). She leaves behind her grandchildren Kristin Diana (Mike Dion), Laurel Diana, Michael Diana, Spencer Martinello, and her great-granddaughter Chloe Dion. She is survived by her siblings Don, Chick (Arnold), Toby (Harold), Marvin, Jo-Anne, Laurie and Leonard. She is predeceased by Frank and Lynda.

Dolores previously worked at Bell Canada, Dahl Specialties, Beaver Foods, Butchers Engineering, and Chateau Park Lodge for many years. She was a proud supporter of the Red Cross.

We would like to thank Donna O’Neil, mom’s angel on earth, for her exceptional care as well as all of the staff at Heron Terrance and the Village of Aspen Lake who cared for our mom during her stay.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Red Cross, Alzheimer Society of Windsor, Schizophrenia Society of Windsor, or your favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and again on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until a Celebration of Dolores’ life begins at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
