Donald Arpin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Don Arpin on November 16, 2019. Born April 2nd, 1929, in Sandwich, Ontario. Beloved son of Louis Joseph Arpin and Mary Margaret O’Donnell. Devoted husband of 47 years of the late Christine (nee McLean) (2005). Proud father of Tom, Mary Cornies and husband Grant, Catherine Arpin and husband Kevin Vincent, Robert and Alexandra, Charles, Peter, John and Maria. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Jackson and Ryan. Dear brother of Kathleen “Kay” Arpin, Joe and Marge Arpin, and the late Gerald Francis Arpin (1935). Lovingly remembered by brother-in-law Gerry and Iris McLean. Much loved uncle of many nieces and nephews both in Canada and the USA.

Mr. Arpin was the owner of Furs by Arpin Co. Ltd. in downtown Windsor from 1966 until his retirement in 2002. He was a proud member of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) since 1964. Recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award by the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. Special thanks to all the Staff of Oak Park Terrace and Banwell Gardens Care Centre for their care and compassion.

If you so desire, donations to The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) or Habitat for Humanity Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
