Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on January 10, 2020 at the age of 74 years. Loving husband of Patricia Catsoulias for 15 years. Proud father of Sean and wife Patti, Shannon and wife Melissa. Reunited with his first wife Irene (2000) and stepdaughter Nia Katsoulias. Adored grandpa Don of Justin, Michael, Angelika and Brock, and great grandpa of Rhya and Kyen. Dear brother of Lorne and wife Catherine. Missed by many nieces and nephews.
Don was a retired Staff Sergeant with Windsor Police. Don will be remembered as the original Elmer the Safety Elephant teaching countless students public safety. Don loved volunteering and was on the Board of Directors for Drouillard Place for many years. He also loved being involved in local hockey. A special thanks to the nurses and caregivers from St. Elizabeth especially Sarah, Jane, and Dave for all of your compassionate care. If you so desire, donations made to Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
