81 years, peacefully after a long and courageous battle on June 21, 2019 at WRH, Ouellette Campus. Loving husband of Arabelle (Howes) for 58 years. Caring father to Judy Taiariol (John) of Windsor, Michael (Russell Holmes) of New Zealand and Patti Strömer (Fredrik) of Sweden. Devoted grandfather to Connor, Mackenzie, Emmy, August, Ella and Andrew.

He will also be missed by his fur friends Tigger, Charlene, Newton, Tess, Sid and Momo. After retirement from the Royal Bank he enjoyed golfing, curling, travelling the world and cheering on all his grandchildren in everything they did.
