Donna touched and helped a whole lot of people throughout her dedicated nursing career. I consider it both an honor and a pleasure to work with her, learn from her and share a friendship with her. She will be sadly missed. May our memories make the though times a little easier. Always in our hearts. ❤ Jodi

Donna was my partner in crime at SEHC for 18 years. She got me through the toughest times. Her heart was soft and everending. She nursed my husband to his last days and I will be forever grateful. I love you my friend. May you be at peace

Donna was a caring nurse working in long term care and in the community. She always advocated for her clients and never held back her strong opinions. We had some courageous conversations. She will be rewarded in heaven.

Donna was a great lady and an amazing nurse, I had the privilege of working with her at Huron Lodge a number of years ago and always looked forward to working on her floor because I knew whatever was going on, she would help us handle it with humour and grace. I've kept in touch with her from time to time throughout the years, I'm so sorry to hear of her loss, she was one of a kind, a great person! Sending condolences to Donna's family, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'll never forget you Donna.

I loved working with Donna, if she seen you were down she would make jokes when you would be getting reports. I remember work just before Easter with her. Someone was having a bad day. She took a chocolate egg, and put it on a chair of the person. The person came back and she said because your having a bad day you don’t have to sh/t all over the place. I laughed so hard my water shot out of my nose. She was a great soul, and beautiful person inside and outside. I’m glad I got to meet her. She is what and how nurses should be. RIP Donna

To Donna’s family, on behalf of the nursing staff at Huron Lodge; we would like to extend our sympathies to your family. You may be gone but you will not be forgotten. You had a wicked sense of humour that added levity to stressful situations I personally looked forward to your witty response when I had to do staff call outs. You will keep the heavens laughing.
