Obituary for Dorothy Rose MacDonald RN
After a long life and short illness.
Born in Whitney Pier N.S. to the late Georgina (Binns) and Leo Dalton. Sister to the late Billy (Lidia), Ernest, Mary Ellen Mombourquette (Neil). Also predeceased by the love of her life Mason Hugh (2018) and beloved son Dalton (2020). Survived by her loving son Mason (Tina) and her grandchildren Cecilia Van Horne (Matt) and Kathleen (Brayden Kapetanov) and great grandchildren Huxley Van Horne and Bridgette MacDonald-Kapetanov. Sister-in-law to Florence (Dodie) Dalton (late Pius).
Dorothy will be missed by her many loved nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by many friends at Solidarity Tower especially Deb, Colleen, Jane, and Charllene. Dorothy worked as a Registered Nurse at Grace Hospital, Maryvale School and St. Clair College. Dorothy’s family would like to send a very special thank you to the medical staff at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus.
