JONES, Douglas Sinclair “Doug”
Passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018 at Erie Shores Hospice with his family by his side at the age of 66. Cherished husband and best friend to Donna (nee Langlois) for over 31 years. Beloved son of Margaret and the late Borden Jones. Predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Don and Helen Langlois. Survived by his children Jason (Stef), Lisa, Jennifer (Jason) and Ted (Lauralee). Dear Papa of Rylee, Taylor, Hailey, Madison, Lloyd, Abbot, Mayson, Booth, Lincoln, and Blaike. Dearest brother to Dave (Debbie), Janice (Barry), and Carole (Ernie). Brother-in-law to Gail (Mike), the late Dean (2008), Jeff (Theresa), and Greg. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Doug retired from Chrysler Canada after 21 years of dedicated service. Doug loved life and one of his many passions was riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle and playing his guitar. Doug’s family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank you to nurse Jessica and Erie Shores Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Doug and his family.
Donations to the Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
Visiting will be held on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
Further visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
