Passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 28, 2023 at the age of 72.

Loving husband of Mary Kay Zakoor. Cherished father of Stanley Whittaker and Tommy Whittaker. Proud grandfather of 5 beautiful grandchildren. Dear brother of Carol, Jane (Dave), Don (Linda), and Wendy. Brother-in-law of Gord (Cheryl), Suzanne, Maureen, Colleen (Rod), and Dan (Angela). He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Doug’s gone sailing now and will get back to us when he can.

As per his wishes, there will be no service or visitation.
