Obituary for Edward Dupuis
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Joseph Dupuis on February 14, 2024 at 89 years of age.
Reunited with the love of his life, Mary (2010). Loving father of Nancy and husband Terry Shields, Patti and husband Mike McBride, Susan and husband Joe LaFontaine. Cherished and devoted grandfather of Joe (Stephanie Demers) and Brittany LaFontaine, Stephen and Mitchell Shields, Matthew and Nicole Canzoneri. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Corinne, as well as his siblings Martin (Rose), Larry (Eva), Stanley (Blanche), Rita (Earl) Wood, Bernadette Peck-Fox (Sanford, Ray) and Irene. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Edward worked for many years in manufacturing in various capacities and then enjoyed a successful career as a realtor. He loved to travel, bowl and golf but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He was a loving husband and devoted father coaching his three girls for many years in baseball and a loyal and dedicated fan to all of his grandchildren and their many sporting activities. Thank you dad for all of the lessons you taught us, for always putting family first and for the beautiful memories we are left with.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff on the Willow floor at Huron Lodge for the care and comfort they provided to our dad. A special thank you to Mark Demers who provided dad with love, friendship and laughter during dad’s stay there. Special thanks also to Sharon Chang who provided dad with years of in-home care and friendship.

Visiting Monday February 19, 2024 from 4pm until the time of funeral service at 7pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor. A private interment will be held at Victoria Memorial Gardens at a later date.
