Dearest mother of Maggie Durocher, Johanna Hansen and Dwight Freeswick, Kenneth and wife Brooke and the late Kris, wife of Pat McGuire. Dear daughter of the late John and Maggie McCarthy. Beloved sister of the late William McCarthy. Cherished grandmother of Jeff, Jacqueline, Marshall, Meaghan, Matthew, Kyle and Erin. Eileen sang professionally in Windsor and Detroit and surrounding areas. She was employed in the offices of the Ford Motor Company for 11 years, where she met and married Ken (Casey) Coulter. After the birth of her four children, she was employed by Dr. Zarzour as a receptionist. She then became a volunteer with the "Windsor, Essex County Tourist and Convention Bureau" for nearly 13 years. A highlight for her was acting as an Honour Guard for the Royal Family on their visit to Windsor. She was awarded recognition from the Government of Canada for exceptional effort which contributed to Canada's tradition of friendship and goodwill towards international visitors. She was deeply devoted to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where she served as a Sacristan, a Eucharistic Minister and Lector, and was recognized by the Ontario Multifaith Council. If you so desire, donations to Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
