Obituary for Elizabeth (Beth) Jane Zaitz (nee McIntosh)

An Angel has left us. Her pain is gone. May she now finally be able to rest in peace.

The family is saddened to inform you of the passing of Elizabeth (Beth) Jane Zaitz (nee McIntosh), on November 26, 2022 at the age of 60.

Beth was the loving wife and companion for 37 years to Jim Zaitz. She was the beloved daughter of Charles (predeceased 2020) and Anne McIntosh, and sister to Susan Larsh (Mark Spik) and Kathy Quinn. Special auntie to Allison Van Beek (Court), Jeffrey Larsh (Amanda), Sean Quinn (Natasha), Sarah Beaudoin (Matt) and loving great aunt to all of their children.

Beth was loved by all the Zaitz family and special friends from Sudbury, Windsor, and abroad.

She will be sadly missed by her very dear group of lifelong school friends who gathered regularly for friendship and comradery. Beth will be remembered for her compassion, loving and mischievous nature, wit, sense of humour, music and love for animals. Their dogs Chancie and Friday would have agreed. Together, Jim and Beth built and maintained lovely homes. There they beautifully displayed Beth’s plants and their treasured family momentos. Her home was her pride and joy. Her love for Jim, family, and dear friends will never be forgotten.

If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Multiple Myeloma) would be appreciated. Visitation on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. with words of remembrance at 7 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd, East Windsor (519-969-5841). Cremation to follow.
