Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" Duff (nee Johnson)
Peacefully at home, into the loving arms of Jesus on February 10, at the age of 86 years. Devoted wife for 55 years to John (2013). Predeceased by parents Evangeline Dowd (1999) and Charles Forest Johnson (1943). Loving mother of Deborah, Diane (Domenico) Aversa, John (Michelle), James (Carmen), Darlene (Bradley) Butler, Joseph, and Doreen (James). Pre-deceased by daughter Donna Jones (2011). Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Khalid), Daniel (Emma), Derek (Jessica), Dale (Crystal), Candice (Geoff), Katie (Troy), Julia (John), Justin, Mary, Kyle, Mark, Erica (Alex), and Jordan (Jasmine). Loving great-grandmother of Ella, Brooke, Gabriella, Madisyn, Anthony, Brody, Safira, Brinley, Angelina, Isabella, Aliza, Arianna, and Bria. Dear sister of William (Eleanor) Johnson, Catherine (Paul) Bartley, Joan Reguera, and pre-deceased by brothers Charles Johnson and Robert Johnson. Sister-in-law of Leslie Duff, Richard (Dick) Duff, Theresa (Peter) Delanardo, Ann (the late Colin) MacDonald, Philip Duff, Thomas (Joanne) Duff, Mary Curtis and Harold (Linda) Duff. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Eric Duff and Carl Duff, and sisters-in-law Cecilia Biggs, Noella Johnson, and Mary Duff. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, a wonderful, supportive mother and lifelong committed parishioner of Holy Name of Mary/ Assumption Church.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and limitations on public gatherings, a private family visitation and Funeral Mass will take place on Monday February 15, 2021 at 11 am.
