Obituary for Elizabeth Phillip

Peacefully, on March 14, 2021, at home, while surrounded by her loving family.

Dear aunt and godmother of Nadine Bacon (Myers), aunt of James and Jack Phillip. Adored great-aunt of Dennis Bacon, Amy-Lynne Coulter and husband Scott. Cherished great-great-aunt of Meighan and Adam Coulter. Special best friend of Shirley, Andrea, Connie and the late Pat, Pat and husband Pete and predeceased by Jean Kratz. Sister of Jack Phillip and his late wife Joyce. Predeceased by her adored sister and brother-in-law Mary (2007) and Arthur “Curly” Myers (2015), as well as her beloved parents Anton and Anna Phillip.

Liz will always be remembered as a caring and very generous lady who loved her dog Sassy. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing and golfing, but often bragged about winning the championship with her Professional Bowling League. Most of all, Liz will be forever remembered by the ones she loved the most, for the precious times they shared travelling, playing slots and laughing.

Donations have been made to charities that were dear to Liz’s heart. If you desire to donate in her memory, you may donate to: Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, Hotel Dieu-Grace Healthcare, Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation or the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County, which would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place and a private service was held for family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave (519-969-5841).
