With heavy hearts, our family shares the sad news that Elizabeth passed away on March 17, 2024, just shy of her 85th birthday. Predeceased by husband David and son Ashley. Survived by loving daughters Susanne (David) and Natalie (Garry). Elizabeth was a generous and caring Grandma to Allison and Braeden, step - Grandma to Evan, Stephen, Spencer, Chris and Zach. Predeceased by parents Frank, Julia and brother John. She will be missed by friends and neighbours, especially Sharon Fedak. Elizabeth was a dedicated secondary school teacher with the Windsor and Essex County District School Board and a life-long learner herself. She continued taking a variety of courses in her retirement and was always ready to debate political issues of the day. Elizabeth took great joy spending time with her dogs, Otis and Daisy.Elizabeth’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at WRH Met Campus, especially Dr. Mazzetti and Dr. Meloche for the care and compassion shown to Elizabeth and her family. Donations to the Canadian Dachshund Rescue or Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
