Obituary for Eric Warnock
Passed away peacefully on June 17, 2022 at the age of 88 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Eric was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on April 11, 1934. Loving husband of Dorothy for 57 years. Dear dad of Steven (Susan) Warnock. He will be dearly missed by his granddaughters Bridget and Brenna and their grandmother, Katherine (Bob) Little. Predeceased by his parents, Maude and John Warnock, and his 3 brothers, George, John and Earl. Survived by his sister Marion Warnock, brother-in-law Dan (Lyla) Vojinov and families, and his nephew, Kirk (Trudi) DeLuca and family. He will also be missed by his furry friends.
Eric was a fan of the Montreal Canadiens. He enjoyed hockey and played for the Old Timers Hockey in Windsor. He is dearly loved by his family and many friends. A special thanks to Cathy Dottor and to everyone who made calls and visits over the last year.
Donations in memory of Eric may be made to the Hospice of Windsor or to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society.
As per Eric’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
