Obituary for Eugene William Gayowsky
Born in Windsor, ON on May 7, 1934 to William and Rose (Bryksa) and passed away peacefully at WRH on January 16, 2023 at age 88.
Dearly loved husband to Loretta for 65 years who experienced many travels together to Florida, California, Bahamas and Hawaii. Most adored father with cherished memories to Kenneth, Gerard, James and Deborah Dufault (Ron). Doting grandfather to Amanda, Alexandra (Jesse), Megan, Abbey, Grace, Brooke and Noah and to great grandchildren Evan, Jordan and Ronan. Beloved brother to Gerald (1989), Robert (Vanda) and Joyce Mady. Brother-in-law to Gedeon (2018) and Marie (2022) Vermette, Edward (2022) and Dellene Vermette and Gert Vermette. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind good friends, many of which he was members with in the Knights of Columbus Fr. Nicholas Point Council 4375. He was an active volunteer with Society of Saint Vincent de Paul up until 2 weeks before his passing. He had a successful career in the service/sales industry and enjoyed his retirement years golfing, gardening and cheering on his favourite sports teams. He will be dearly missed by all.
Visiting Monday January 23, 2023 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm with K of C Prayers at 7:30pm at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
Visiting will resume at Ste. Anne Church (12233 Tecumseh Road E.). Tuesday January 24, 2023 from 10am until time of Funeral Mass at 11am. Cremation to follow.
