Obituary for Ferruccio Bresolin

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our father Ferruccio Bresolin at the age of 90 on October 24, 2022. He is now reunited with his loving wife, Bruna (2018).

He leaves behind his children, George Bresolin (Marietta), Lodovico Bresolin, Mary Knehler (George) and Lisa Larocque (Jamie). He was the proud nonno to Rebecca, Samantha (Michael), Christina, Dante, Adam, Olivia, Luke, Lauren, and Emma. His great grandchildren, Aiden and Hailey always made him laugh and smile. Ferruccio joins his parents, Lodovico (1977) and Pierina (2003), brother Luigi (2019), and sister Elena (2012). He will be missed by his brother, Fiorenzo and sisters Ida and Clara.

Ferruccio was born in Casoni, Vicenza Italy on March 16, 1932. He came to Canada in 1957 and found work as a carpenter in Toronto. A few years later, his bride to be joined him and they began their family. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the simple things in life. Ferruccio worked as a carpenter for many years in Windsor for different builders. He was a long-time member of G. Caboto Club where he enjoyed spending time with his friends, maintaining his Italian culture and recently achieved his 50 year membership pin. Ferruccio was also a proud member of the Alpini and never hesitated to wear his special Capello Alpino when asked.

Special thanks to the staff on Lookout Point at Heron Terrace where dad spent his final years. He was known to all as, "Nonno" and was content there. He even learned to play Bingo and would always give away his prizes to us whenever he won.

If you so desire, donations to a charity of your choice may be made.
