Obituary for Frances "Fran" Allen
It is with great sadness we announce that Fran passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday.
Loving sister of the late James (Pat) Piquet, Janet Sultini, and Phil (Karen) Piquet. Cherished Aunt of Shelley (William) Gilbert, Barry (Michele) Piquet, Danielle (Eric) Hoeppner, Nicole (Saverio) Paonessa, Randy (Cindy) Sultini, and Christy (Akash) Sheth. She is also missed by her great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, especially her fur baby, Ellie.
Fran was a passionate educator for the GECDSB. In her younger years she was an accomplished high school athlete. Fran’s home in Amherstburg was always the center of family gatherings.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society or Wings Rehab Centre.
Visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
