Frances was a long standing member of the Corpus Christi (St. Gabriel) CWL. Frances worked as a long time Accountant for General Motors Credit Union. Our Mom was truly amazing, a kind, gentle and caring person. She loved her family and will always be an inspiration to us all. She was a talented seamstress and knitter. She loved to bake. No holiday or gathering was complete unless she baked her cherry and strawberry-rhubarb pies, which she did well into her nineties. She was always a fashion statement and was well known for her love of high heeled shoes. Mom was always smiling no matter what was going on in her life, her positivity was infectious. She loved us all unconditionally. She was proud of all our accomplishments and was there to support us through hard times. We are comforted that she is at peace and reunited with our Dad, the love of her life. We know she is hugging him and catching him up on everything that he has missed out on. Our Mom’s legacy of love, courage and commitment will continue to live on with each and everyone of us. The family of Frances would like to thank Sunrise for all their kindness and compassion shown towards our mother. You will always have a special place in our hearts. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation-COVID Fund or the Windsor & Essex Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and limitations on public gatherings, a private family visitation and service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A Celebration of Frances’s life will be held at a later date.
