Obituary for Francesco "Frank" Gaiarin
On October 17, 2020, at the age of 86.
Beloved Husband of Mary for 62 years. Much loved Pappa of Roger and wife Gordana, Frankie, Jimmy and wife Shawna. Cherished Nonno of Preston and Adam. Dear brother of Claudio and wife Simonne, Johnny and wife Jaye. Frank will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, both in Canada and in Italy.
Frank loved fishing and belonged to Just Fishing Friends Club, and he often travelled to his favourite fishing hole in LaSalle. He was an avid hockey fan, and especially loved watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, and his grandson Adam who played hockey for the Essex 73’s. Frank was a proud member of both the Giovanni Caboto Club and the Fogolar Furlan Club. Above all, Frank loved his family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with them.

Separate reservations and face coverings are required for Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Ave. at 9:30 a.m. Procession to follow to Heavenly Rest Cemetery for entombment. Reservations may be made online or by calling Families First.
