Born on September 12, 1926. Passed peacefully with his daughter by his side on December 10, 2018 at 92 years of age. Loving husband of the late Shirley (2010). Cherished father of David and the late Wendy, Janet and husband Mitch Snaden. Grandad to Adam, Heather, Tyler, Alice, Carly and Tess. Brother to Beth Meloche of Texas, and the late Violet Gleddie of Ottawa. He will be missed by his nephews in Ottawa, nieces in Texas, cousins and friends. Frank was owner and operator of Dixon Van Lines Ltd. for over 40 years. “Captain Frank” will forever be remembered for his passion and love of sailing and racing on Lake Huron. Special thanks to the loving and caring staff at Huron Lodge of Windsor. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
