It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of a beautiful husband, father, stepfather and pépé, on February 6, 2020 at 67 years of age. Beloved husband and soulmate to Rita Coté ( nee Longeuay). Loving dad and best friend to Jeramie and Tiffany Coté. Also survived by son Joel and Jessica Coté. Adoring stepdad to Lindsay Hewson (Timothy Hyatt), Ashley Richardson (Jeff), and Jordan Provenzano (Taylor). Loving pépé to Kali, Ava, Paisley, Brooklyn, Hazel, Luca, and Keaton. Predeceased by Louis and Clara Coté. Dear brother to Carol Brosseau (Eugene), Ron Coté (Suzanne), Jeannette Bertrand (Wayne), Annette Wright (Peter), and the late Paul Coté (2016). Son in law to the late Robert (2016) and Rita Longeuay . Brother in law to Brian Longeuay (Carol), the late Greg Longeuay (2018) (Marie), Linda Georgiu (Jimmy), Lori Mackie (Dave), Tracy Hlywka (Mike) and (the late Cort Rebkowec 2007). Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gary was a very dedicated and hard worker at Ford Motor Company for just over 49 years. Gary got to spend the last two wonderful weeks with the love of his life in Costa Rica. He will be remembered as our superhero who worked hard and played harder.

Donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Monday 2-5pm and 7-9pm. On Tuesday Family and friends are invited after 10:30 am for a Celebration of Gary`s Life at 11:30am.
