Obituary for Gary Taylor

Passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021 at the age of 75. Best friend and cherished husband of the late Susan (2016). Beloved father of Tammy, the late Tommy (1991), Jackie Danko (Sam), Johnny (Jocelyne) and David. Caring grandpa of Josh (Skye), Michael (Megan), Damian (Amanda), Samantha, Zoey-Lynn (Sean), Mandy (Adam), Lisa-Marie, Nicole and great grandpa of Landon, Dante, Lukas, and Nikolas. Loving brother of Stanley and Peggy. Loving brother-in-law of Mary Ellen (Barry), the late Johnny (Suzie), the late David and the late Carol (George). Predeceased by parents Stanley and Margaret Taylor. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and countless friends, especially his neighbours Lindsay and Glenn Soucie, and Anna Chiaramonte.

Gary loved building and working on street rods, as well as camping and playing euchre and pool. He will be remembered fondly as a nice man with a great sense of humour and a friend to all. A special thanks to Dr. Tony Glanz and the doctors and nursing staff at WRH – Ouellette Campus especially Meagan, Richelle, Heather, and Christine. For those who wish, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Windsor & Essex County.

Reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 18, 20201 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
