Obituary for Gerard "Gerry" Jobin
Passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on January 19, 2021 at 68 years of age.
Cherished father of Jeremy and wife Erin, and Jason and wife Ashley. Proud grandpa of Caden, Deegan and Jordan. Survived by his loving sister Marie-Jeanne and husband Jean-Marc Larocque, and his sister in-law Marcella Jobin. Predeceased by his parents Roland and Eveline Jobin, and by brothers Robert (Pat), Paul, and Pierre. He will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and cat Jojo.
Gerry was a devoted employee of Reliance Steel for 42 years. He was a man of few words, but had an inner strength that saw him through many challenges throughout his life.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff of W.R.H. – Ouellette Campus and Leamington Hospital for their care of Gerard.

On Monday, January 25, 2021, reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 2-3 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. You can reserve your time for visitation at FamiliesFirst.ca (RSVP) or by calling directly. Cremation to follow with an interment of his cremated remains with his parents at St. Joachim Cemetery to be held at a later date.
