Obituary for Giuseppa Dagati (nee Mazza)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 26, 2024 at 77 years of age.
Predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years. Antonino (2017). Cherished mother of Mariella (Raffaele) Buzzeo, Rosario (Silvana) Dagati, Rosa (Gino) Tola, Leonardo (Stephanie) Dagati, and Joe (Angela) Dagati. Loving “Nonna Pina” of Andrew, Daniela (Ryan), Anthony, Angela, Joseph, Peter-James, Sabrina, Isabella, David, Kayla, Mia, Dante, Patrick (Shelby), and Trevor (Michelle). Dear great-grandmother of Stella, Nora and Bennett. Reunited with her parents Leonardo and Rosa Mazza and in-laws Rosario and Maria Dagati. Dear sister of Calogero (the late Giacomina), Alfonso (Anna), Michele (Martina), Salvatore (Rosalia), Pietro (Angela), and Pasquale (Rosa). Dear sister-in-law of late Eleonora & Vincenzo, the late Antonina & Giuseppe, Santa (the late Giuseppe), Piero (Angela), the late Giuseppe (Santa), Franca (the late Giuseppino), and Salvatore (Anna). Giuseppa will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends from Italy, Venezuela, Canada and USA.
She was a very talented seamstress and her love of cooking for her family brought her great joy. She worked tirelessly to maintain Nonno’s efforts in the garden that they created together. Just as both their hands created their garden, they also built our family, a reflection of their constant nurturing, love and care. She truly had a gift to make everyone feel loved and her dedication to her family was admirable. We will cherish our memories with her forever.
