Obituary for Giuseppe "Peppino " Albano
Giuseppe Albano age 83, passed away on October 24, 2022. He died at home peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Dear husband and best friend of 60 years to Maria Rosa Albano (nee: DeMarco). Loving father of Rosarina and Dave Probert, Salvatore and Lisa, Franca Albano and Doris Lapico. Proud Nonno of Samantha and Georgio Ahad, Alexia, Andrew, Dylan, Jessica, Bianca and Nicholas. Dear Bis-Nonno of Geovanni Ahad. Predeceased by his parents Rosarina and Salvatore Albano as well as brothers; Vincenzo (survived by Yolanda), Antonio (survived by Mena) and Luigi (survived by Maria). Survived by brothers Mario and Costanza Albano, Sistino and Rosetta Albano. Zio Peppino will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He was a family man and a good friend. He was his family’s rock. His love, patience and incredible sense of humour will live forever.
He immigrated to Canada in 1970 with his family, 4 children, mother and younger brother. He was a hard worker from masonry to manufacturing. He loved to go mushroom hunting and take Sunday drives with his wife by his side, along with taking his family to Holiday beach.
He was a member of the Caboto Club and enjoyed going out socially with friends. He leaves behind many family and friends in San Giovanni In Fiore, Calabria.

Visiting Sunday, October 30th, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 2:30 p.m. Visiting will continue on Monday, October 31, 2022 after 9:30 am until the procession leaves at 10:15 a.m. from Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. to Corpus Christi Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
