Glendora Watkins (nee Brooks)

Passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 90, after a valiant battle with cancer. Dear wife of the late Gilbert Watkins (1997). Cherished mother of Hilda Watkins (the late Vince Odle)(2000). Loving daughter of the late John and wife Margaret Brooks. Dearest grandmother of Paul Christopher Tanner and Jeremy Gilbert Tanner. Great-grandmother of Todd Tanner and Bradley Millben. Treasured sister of Joyce (the late Leo Robbins), Mary Lou (the late Lloyd MacLean), Gloria and husband Frank Hidi. Predeceased by her brothers Vernon, Lyle, and Bruce.

Glendora retired from Union Gas, where she served as a Supervisor of the Credit Department. Glendora worked diligently as an integral part of The Hour-A-Day Study Club, where she helped secure funds to provide scholarships for the descendants of the underground railroad.

Special thanks to Dr. Steven Berecz and the management and staff of Kensington Retirement Home for their outstanding care and compassion.

If you so desire, donations to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family.

A private family service was held.
