Obituary for Gordon Francis ""Pete"" LaPointe
Born January 30, 1931, passed away peacefully at his home on May 23, 2023 at the age of 92. Beloved husband for 65 years to Shirley (nee McCulloch). Loving father of Kim Rabie (Rizk), Kevin (Debbie), Greg (Kay) and Kelly. Cherished Grampa of Scott, Becky, Tara, Ryan, Joseph, Jayden and Devon. Great grandfather of Leah, Haylee, Abby, Anna, and Georgia. Predeceased by his siblings Leo, Henry, Hector, Rene, Raymond, Donald, Aline, Nora, Cecile and Yvonne. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Gord retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service. He loved to travel the islands and spending his winters in Florida later on in life. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Jake’s Joint, for the meat draw every Saturday. His ultimate pleasure was with the time he spent with his family.

Visiting Sunday May 28, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service to celebrate Gord’s life will be Monday May 29, 2023 at 11:30 am at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
