It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Harold Welch announce his passing after a brief illness on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the age of 92. Gord was predeceased by Gloria, his loving wife of 51 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Craig (Roz), Wendy (Bill) Simpson, Brenda Wilding, and Laura (George) Kargov. Gord leaves behind four grandchildren: Christopher, Rachel, Natasha and Kyle, as well as 3 great-grandchildren and another on the way. Gord is survived by his sister Marlene and was predeceased by his sisters Marjorie and Barbara and his brother Gary.

Gord was a proud employee of the Ford Motor Company for 33 years. He also played the trumpet professionally in various big bands and in the Windsor Symphony Orchestra for 15 years.

Visiting will be Friday, September 20, 2019 from 12 noon until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue, South Windsor, (519) 969-5841.
