My grandfather, James Peckett (piano/keyboards) played with Gord in his band for many years. I myself took trumpet lessons from Gord back in the late 70s. I recall he had a soundproof room in his basement...I think it was Forest Glade. Gord was a great teacher and I developed some pretty good chops for a period of time which helped my performances in the Essex District High School stage band. My condolences on the loss of your father. I remember him being a great guy with whom my grand-father really enjoyed playing.
