Obituary for Harold Edward "Jake" Boismier
Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 93. Now resting with his beloved wife Lila (2015). Cherished father of Wayne, Sue Walker (Ken), Linda Marchand (Gord), and Gary (Terra). Proud grandfather of Joey, Jason (Kavaughn), Ken Jr., April, Cheri (Jay), Mark, Addison, Jaxson. Great-grandfather to Lyla and Lucas. Loving son of the late Clara and Norman. Dear brother of Judy, Jim (Julie), Jac, Cecelia and predeceased by Norma, Rhea, Russell and Barbara Joan.
Jake will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jake was a proud employee of the City of Windsor (Public Works Department) for 30 years. Dad was a great storyteller, his mind remained sharp till the very end.
Visitation at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor 519-969-5841 on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 9:30am until time of Funeral Service at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
