Obituary for Harry Maxim Delisle

An amazing life well lived by an amazing man. Our loving dad earned his wings at 102 years young.
The last surviving sibling of 9, born to Annabelle and Harry.

Loving husband of the late Lenora Holmes (1970) best friend to Addie Mansel (1992). Cherished father of Darlene Maki (Mark 2022) Linda Millmun (2011) (Dan), Gary (1992), Randy (Linda) & Robyn (Mike). Adored Gramps to Krista Maki, Andrea Fernbach (Max) Jennifer Gemellaro (John), Brad Millmun, Brent Millmun, Cole Waters (Ali), Taylor Lucken (Brad). Great Grampa Harry to Kendra (2002) Victoria, Grace, Jack, Charlotte, Henry, Christian & McKenzie.
He knew he was Cherished and loved by many nieces and nephews! Fondly remembered sisters, Catherine Dufour, Gertrude Washburn, and brothers John, LLoyd, Ernest, Harold, Clarence, and Alfred.

A proud graduate of W D Lowe & winner of the sharp shooting gold medal for North America, enlisted into the RCAF, a WWll veteran and upon his return to Chrysler Canada, to a proud position in labour relations until retirement in 1978.

Harry was a life-long member of RCL Branch 594, Chrymoto Club, Windsor and Riverside Sportsmen Club. He was a very talented sports enthusiast - a bowler, golfer, hunter, played ball well into his 60's and loved his Tigers. He had a strong love of music, always singing and loved playing harmonica.
A full life filled with many memories and good times, the jokes, the cheers, and the pancake making. If you met him, you'd remember him!

We must mention his pals at Average Joe's and Lauzon Landing.
Thanks for the love and friendship from all of you, it meant so much to him and to us.
