On June 29, 2022 Heidi was called Home the day before her 78th birthday. Survived by her parents, Gerdi and Medi Tuerk. Dear mother of Michael and wife Laura, Steven and wife Jukie. Heidi was most proud of her two sons and grandsons and all of their accomplishments. She was a loving Omi of Ryan and Tristan, Cooper and Sav, Carter and Cayden. Sister to Marina and husband Larry McRae. Special aunt of Krista and Dan, Alissa and David, and great-aunt to Aurora and Jasper. She retired from Sears Canada after 35 years of service. Heidi was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church. Heidi was a proud hockey and soccer Mom and Omi, she loved watching her boys and grandsons play.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Monday, July 4, 2022 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church.
