Reunited with her loving husband the late George Bonter (2012) on April 13, 2019. Daughter of the late James Madden and Mary Madden (Nugent nee Wilson) of New Waterford, Cape Breton NS. Mother of Terry Maynard (Carl), Pat Rutherford (Caroline Gauthier) of Quebec, Michael Bonter (Christine Marentette) of Windsor. Special Nanny of Christopher, David, Stephen, Victoria, and Great grandmother of Colten. Predeceased by brothers Joe, John (Jack) & Edward Nugent, David, Luke and Frank Madden of Cape Breton NS, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Lena will be remembered for her strong faith, her garden (especially her roses), and the love she always had for her family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 10:00am at Our Lady of Assumption Church (711 McEwan) followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
