Passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years at Extendicare, Tecumseh on August 27, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Zimmerman (2007) and the late Dorothea (1981). Cherished father of Greig and wife Janet Zimmerman (2009), Ronald and wife Elaine Zimmerman. Loved son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Zimmerman. Treasured grandfather of Jaime, Meighen, Lorraine and Charlene. Proud great grandfather of James MacLellan and Roman Lepera. Henry retired from Ontario Hydro in 1982 after 34 years of service. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Canadian Navy and a member of the Windsor Yacht Club. Special thank you to Irena of Extendicare, Tecumseh for her compassion and care.
