Born on December 18, 1949 in Alcamo, Sicily, Italy. Immigrated to Hamilton, Ontario in 1959. Passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2019 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 38 years to Carol (nee Chase). Loving father of the late James R. Chase (2008) and Giovannina Tristaino. Son of the late Giovanni and Giovanna Tristaino. Dear brother of the late Philipo Tristaino and uncle of Johnny and Joey Tristaino of Hamilton. Brother-in-law of Lenny Chase (Monica), late Cheryl Chase, Franny Chase (Steve), the late Debbie Chase, Jeff Chase, Krista Chase, and Anthony Chase. Will be missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends Phil Digati and Sam Farrauto of Hamilton.

Charles worked for the cities of Calgary and Hamilton Waterworks departments and retired from Enviro Disposal in the City of Windsor. He was a proud member of CUPE and Liuna.
