Eugene and Debbie, So sorry to read of the passing of your Mother. It's never easy to lose someone who has played such a significant role in your life regardless of age. I don't recall ever having had the opportunity to meet your Mother, but knowing her son I know that she had to be a very special lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and your extended family in the difficult days ahead. Take care.

I have fond memories of spending time at the Wendland Family Cottage in Parry Sound, with Aaron and other close friends, and enjoying the hospitality of Aaron's grandparents. I remember Ilse being a strong and kind person who welcomed us young people into her home, and one who looked after us as though we were her own. The Wendland Family is in my thoughts during the loss of its Matriarch. Warmly, - Craig

Dear Wendland Family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Though I only met Ilse once, I could tell immediately she was the kind of unique individual, full of love, life and strength of character, whom you could never forget and whom you were so lucky to share so many years with. She can never be replaced but I know her memory with live on her family and many friends forever. Hunter
