Suddenly passed on August 15, 2022 at 85 years of age. Reunited with her beloved husband Emil (2012). Beloved Mama of David Emil Gecelovsky (Lynda) and Deborah Ann Owens (Edward). Cherished Grandmother of Matthew Owens (Deyzi), Nicole Birkby (Scott), and Daralyn Quenneville (Neil). Dear Great Grandmother of Violet, Sawyer, Eddie, Sofia, Benny, and Alice. Predeceased by her parents Steve and Ethel Smidu, and her siblings Julia Szekely (Bert), Helen Hrbak (Andy), and Mary Gero (Joe). Loving Aunt of Liz and Nancy. Irene will be dearly missed by her fur baby Molly.
