Irene Kalapun

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 2, 2020 at the age of 64.

Loving mother to Freddy (partner Aubree) and Laurisa (partner Jack). Dear daughter to the late Wasyl and Mary. Beloved sister to Bill (Aggie) and the late Lucy (2002). Adored aunt to Emma and Liam. Irene was a very bright and social lady and will be missed by everyone she touched.

Irene was a volunteer of the Zonta Club, she worked many years with the Liberal Party and was active in St. Vladimir Orthodox Ukrainian Women’s Club. So very sorry for your loss of this wonderful lady. Irene and I worked together at the superstore for many years. I always thought she was a very nice lady and we shared many heartfelt conversations. Even after I left the store she was so happy to see me if I dropped in. She will be missed. 💔💔💔💗💗

To Irene's Family: Our sincere sympathy at the passing of your beloved Mom. Our paths crossed only briefly, usually at Slovak weddings or gatherings, but there is a distant relationship between your family and ours. May God grant you His Love and Peace during your time of sorrow. Rose and John Adams

Dear Bill and Family,

With deepest sympathy as we remember Irene.

We lived a few doors down on Langlois Ave. from the Kalapun home. Our families would get together for dinner. My late parents were Kresny’s to Bill. We spent time together as members of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Parish dance group. One time, the dance instructor reminded the group to smile like Irene during practice and performances.

Rest in Peace Irene, where there is no pain, no sorrow, nor suffering.
