Peacefully with family by her side on December 5, 2022 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of 63 ½ years to Francis “Frank”. Loving mother of Denise (Daniel) Bunda, Yvonne and Susanne. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Bella Lemire. For many years, Isabelle adoringly mothered and grandmothered many feathered friends.

As an independent woman, Isabelle learned to drive at a very young age and to stretch the truth about her age to secure her first job at Peerless. She loved to socialize, laugh, was a talented seamstress and knitter of many outfits and taught her daughters to sew. She taught knitting and typing at night school and made the best piecrust. Later in life, she worked as a part-time secretary and parent volunteer at St. Gabriel’s School. Isabelle retired from Weight Watchers after working for more than 20 years.

If you so desire, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
