Obituary for Jacob Christopher Lamont (Dumaine)
“There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains”
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Jacob on June 19th, 2023 at the age of 24.
Jacob was the loving dad to his “Little Man” Elijah. He was the “Greatest” first born son to Melissa Bianchi and his #2 dad John and Chris Dumaine and his mom #2 Charlotte. “Jakerz/Jakey” was the big brother of Austin, Carson, Alexis, Ella, Evan, Lucas, and Emma. He will be missed his grandparents , Debbie and late Greg Lamont, Blaine and Michele Dumaine and late Toni Dumaine, Bob and Dee Towns, Brenda and Italo Bianchi. He will be dearly missed by Morgan (Elijah’s mom), many family and friends.
Jacob was a bright light. Known as a fixer of everyone’s everything. He would give you the shirt off of his back, and he would always do his best to make you laugh, no matter the circumstance. Jacob loved to cook, collect his many caps, eating shawarma, being surrounded by his family and friends, but most of all he loved being a Dad to Elijah. Even with his passing, he continued to shine, having donated 3 of his organs to others so their lives could have light.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a trust fund for Elijah is appreciated by the family. Please make all checks out to Melissa Bianchi. Cards are available at the funeral home.
Friends and Family are invited to bring a physical photo of Jacob to place on a special memory board during the visitation.
Visitation on Friday, June 23 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm at Families First Funeral Home, 3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E 1S8. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 10:30am. The family request that you wear something in black or red, funny socks or anything you think would remind you of Jake.
