The memories shared will resonate in my heart forever. Jake had such a positive impact on my life. Just having him around made me want to be more easy going and optimistic. Some of my favourite moments were working on our cars. Together we experienced how it frustrating, yet rewarding it can be to work on 25 year old cars. From high school auto class, to our driveways. Jake was always the one picking us up when we were down. Solving the problem when we felt screwed. He was a great chef and always added his special touch to every meal. From grade 12 cooking class to our own kitchens. Joking around, making fries in class to raiding the fridge and seeing what we could make from scraps. Jake was truly the funniest person I have ever known. The stuff he would say was so clever and quick that you'd think he was quoting something. I truly can't say enough great things about Jake. He was the greatest friend you could ask for, and anyone who knew him would agree.
I will miss him forever. I would give anything just to hear another classic Jake one-liner.
My love and thoughts are with his great family and friends,
-- Josh Roussel
