Jim had been a good friend of my late husband for many, many years. They met while driving ambulance together in the late 1950's. Oh the stories they would tell me...........and laugh and chuckle during the entire story. They would recall the scary dark hospitals they would have to enter to retrieve dead bodies and the wonderful young nurses that they met along the way. My husband Raymond always brought up the fact the "Murph" was very " thrifty" and would never even want to spend his own money for a milkshake, so my husband always had to pay. In later years Jim made beautiful draperies for our photography studio. After his resthome career, and moving to Stratford he continues to keep in touch by stopping by the studio whenever he was in town. Those were such lovely visits because it was so much fun to see the boys smiles as the stories unfolded. I only saw Jim twice in the 9 years since my husbands death but thought of him often. He was a good kind man and always a gentleman. He spoke fondly of his boys and my heart goes out to all of you at this time.

Jim was part of our little group for afternoon coffee at Tim Horton's or McDonalds. He had a dry sense of humour which we all enjoyed. He will be missed
