Obituary for James Carson Quinn
Passed away at 76 years of age, surrounded by family after a prolonged illness. Son of John Ignatius Quinn and Genevieve Moore. Beloved husband of Rita Rosa Quinn (nee Facca). Dear father of James John, Sandra (Jason), Robert (Tamara), and Kimberley (Andre). Beloved grandfather to Wren, Keira, Robin, Elizabeth, Isabella, Julian, Adria, Paige, and Jason.
James was an accountant whose favourite past-times included discussing taxes, playing poker, dancing, and spending time at his cottage. James’s zest for life will be remembered fondly.
We are grateful to the nurses and physicians at Windsor Regional and Hotel Dieu Grace Hospitals for their care. He was a proud, active member of the Knights of Columbus, Children’s Safety Village, and the Rotary Club of Windsor where he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
Donations in his memory can be made toward the Kidney Foundation of Windsor/Essex County.
The first visitation on Wednesday November 2nd, 2022 is at 6-9pm at Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave., Windsor) with church prayers at 8:30pm. The second visitation is Thursday November 3rd, 2022 at 10 am at Corpus Christi Parish (1400 Cabana Road W.), followed by mass at 11am with entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
