Peacefully on December 27, 2018, at the age of 77, with his loving family by his side. Much loved husband of Edesse for over 40 years. Dearest father of William “Bill”. Dear brother of Sylvia Davis. Brother-in-law of Carmen Poindexter, Ken Smith and the late William Smith. Also predeceased by his parents, William and Lucille Davis. Lovingly remembered by his niece Charmen Smith as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Jim played 8 years for the Atlanta Hawks and the Detroit Pistons, and he loved his alma mater The University of Colorado Buffaloes. Jim will be forever remembered as a loving and humble man who loved people and was loved by everyone he met. He will live on in the hearts of many.
